Meta's Summer Associate Program

The program is available to diverse students with summer associate positions at participating law firms. Students will spend two weeks of their summer position with Meta’s legal department. The Meta program includes in-house legal experience, social and networking events, seminars, and mentorship. The program exposes diverse law students to (1) client needs to help them achieve greater career success in law firms as well as (2) increased awareness of working in-house as an alternative career path to a law firm. The committee for this program participates in the review process for the candidates and makes recommendations to the participating law firms, but the firms make final decisions and manage the actual employment of the summer associates.  A sample tracker for running a summer associate program can be found here:
